Second Chances- #MyStorySeries

The Easter period for me is a reminder of the heart of God… The Heart that Forgives over and over again, the heart that loves me unconditionally and the heart that is Faithful to me even when I am so undeserving…

Grace!!! The name that my parents chose for me has been evident in my life through the presence of God in my Life.

And during the Easter Season I naturally go into a reflective mode that reminds me of His Grace- because I know that indeed I would be lost if it was not for His Grace, if it was not for His Love for me that made Him come down to earth and dwell among us like mere man to show me how to walk this path called life, to show me that it will not be easy, but just like He overcame death we too have already overcome through Him, to show me that no Sin has the weight that His Glory can not handle, to show me that He will never forsake me… To Show me that no matter what happens in life there is always saving Grace and there will always be a second chance!

Whether it’s a second chance at love, a second chance at trying again for a baby or a second chance at discovering your life’s purpose! whatever you feel you can not come out of or you can not do again you are believing a LIE!

Jesus is the face of second chances, Christianity is about second chances, Christianity is about Grace- it doesn’t matter what the situation looks like but through Christ He can restore and renew, so I say try again… but this time with God! His Grace is Sufficient!!

He came so that you may have Life and have it more Abundantly! and His resurrecting Power that worked 2000 years ago is available to you too today! A dream you may have thought was dead can be reawakened- it’s never too late to walk into your Purpose no matter how old you are- if your dream was to be an Author start writing, if like my Mom your passion has always been interior design go for it! JUMP! JUMP! JUMP! Take the Leap and do something that your future self will thank you for.

Take the Second Chance!

“To be Vulnerable and admit that you still want something after it hasn’t happened is a Gift”. Sarah Jakes-Roberts

The End is BETTER!

Ecclesiastes 7:8- “The end of a matter is better than it’s beginning”

Came across this scripture today and it spoke heaps!

You see many times we despise the days of small beginnings even though scripture in Zecharia 4:10 reminds us not to, because today your very small beginning is very significant in the eyes of the Lord!

Your Small bible study, your small contribution to a cause, or your small-time blogging;-) or even your small tithe and offering… God see’s and God is taking note each time!

The end of a matter is always better because the lessons are in the process, the journey to the destination is what God is most concerned about- The Pruning, The leaps of Faith, The complete Surrender, The full Trust in God and not yourself is what determines better latter days for us than our former- Haggai 2:9

Like Job, Ruth, Esther and David just to name a few- who all started with small but their consistent obedience and reverence to God gave them all Beautiful endings, so if it’s not good then believe me it’s not the end!

Trust the process, stay obedient and remember that in Christ you can only grow from Strength to Strength!

What a joy it is to know that the worlds best thing is in fact nowhere close to God’s best! This journey we’re on now cannot be compared to our ending seated next to Him on the Throne! For the end of a matter is always better even this life here on Earth.

Though even as we continue our life journey, you will see instances of our latter days being better- like when couples celebrate 50years of marriage because as they were starting off they could only trust God to see them thus far! Entrust your future in God’s hands whether it’s a relationship or parenting or even your career… Focus on how you’d like the future to look like and sow those seeds now! for you will surely reap what you sow and you will celebrate an even better ending.

Always Remember that the blessings of the Lord makes Rich and adds no sorrow- Proverbs 10:22.

Look to the Hills!

“The Hill”- Travis Greene

The Hill… Hill… Hill

Sin around me
Pain is in me
Stress is on me
But I gotta keep looking up

Tears are streaming
Heart is beating
Others leaving
But I gotta keep looking up

Some will trust in horses and chariots
But I will look to the hills and I will not fear
Some may say that they found another way
But my eyes are on you and I will not move from…
The Hill… Hill… Hill

Trouble has found me
Pressure is crowding
People doubting
But I gotta keep looking up

Ground is shaking
Walls are breaking
And my heart is racing
But I gotta keep looking up

Some will trust in horses and chariots
But I will look to the hills and I will not fear
Some may say that they found another way
But my heart’s on you and I will not move from…
The Hill…

Some may trust in horses and chariots
But I will look to the hills and I will not fear
Some may say that they found another way
But my eyes are on you and I will not move

On the hill there’s a cross
On the cross there is blood for me for me

Thank you for your blood Jesus [x2]
Thank you for you the blood
For you washed away my sins
Nothing but the blood

Oh Precious [x2]
Oh precious is that blood on the hill

On the hill there’s a cross
On the cross there is blood for me…for me

Still have the power
Wonderful power
To heal our diseases
To cover our weakness

Still have the power
Wonderful power
To heal our diseases
To cover our weakness

Still have the power
Wonderful power
To heal our diseases
To cover our weakness

On the hill there’s a cross on the cross there is blood for me [x2]

The cross don’t discriminate
The cross don’t discriminate
The cross don’t discriminate no..
There’s blood for you
There’s blood for you too

This POWERFUL! Song by Travis Greene has really ministered to me for a while now… Who do you turn to first when Life throws curve balls your way? I hope it’s not social media or even your girlfriends but GOD should be the first you turn to whether you have curve balls or not! at your highest and your lowest moments!

No one can love you like He does, no one really cares as much as He does for you… Trust me! Man’s love is conditional based on what you can do for them most of the time, unless marriage or family members, yet still with God you don’t have to do anything to receive His Love and Grace and even when you’re unfaithful He is so patient with You! My heart now breaks each time I re-call all the times I’ve let Him down to satisfy my own needs, each time I’ve compromised my purity or allowed myself to be objectified or allowed myself to be taken advantage off because deep down I was insecure and didn’t realize that my worth is found in Him and not what people say or think! or each time I’ve chosen my own path because mine was faster and His required too much patience… I’m convicted to ask- when will you get tired of being fed-up? fed up of running up short? fed-up of living in disobedience? fed up of just making due? fed up of letting go of your dream, your purpose, your vision?

Are you tired of messing up and just want to get it right this time? too many years wasted wandering like the Israelites for 40years! yet if only you took instruction and guidance from God, if only you said what is your Will for my life God? not mine- but yours!! Then maybe you wouldn’t have picked that major in Uni, or applied for that job that only drains you now or that relationship that only wasted your years- but if only you said What is your Will for my life God?

But Guess what- God is sooooooo FAITHFUL! When you just surrender all to Him! surrender all at His feet- He will restore all of the years that you lost with more than you can even handle, for He will surely supply for all of your needs according to His Riches and Glory in Christ Jesus- Philippians 4:19

To loose EVERYTHING! to gain Christ is to gain EVERYTHING! for seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all things shall be added unto you- Matthew 6:33 ALL THINGS! You don’t have to worry about provision of anything from Joy, to peace, to hope and restoration to food on your table, to a roof over your head or clothes on your back! He will supply… You just need to trust Him to give you all that you need and obey whatever instructions He gives you, because your obedience not only affects you but your family, your ministry, your followers, your supporters! what are you molding to the world? Are you showing them to walk in God’s obedience like Noah or Job who didn’t care who mocked them but pressed on to God and He surely rewarded them! or will you be like Abraham and obey God partially? Abraham was called by God to leave his country, his people and even his father’s house-hold, but Abraham left with his Father Terah and they reached a place called Harran, yet God didn’t tell him to settle there- the journey was to go to Cannan, but they settled at Harran for 5years because his father Terah questioned his call from God and for those 5years God was quiet! only until Terah died did Abraham continue his journey to Cannan and did he hear from God again.

What will it take for you to be obedient to God’s call? You keep praying and wondering why isn’t God hearing me!? God why aren’t you saying anything? Well maybe you can’t hear Him because you’re far from Him, your outside of His Presence, where you are right now He has not blessed! and there you are asking him to bless it, which He just won’t do!

We have to be bold enough and trust Him enough to just surrender all and let His will be done in our lives through and through! not certain parts of our life, but every part! Every single part and watch Him move in our lives😊

Your Beauty- Serves a Purpose!

It’s been heavy on my heart to start the conversation about what True Beauty really means! and for me that would naturally be what does God define Beauty to be and scripture very clearly reveals the falsehood of physical beauty in Proverbs 31:30 “Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who reverently fears the Lord is to be praised”

That portion of scripture in itself holds all the water we need as a guide, a starting point… And rightly so because it reminds us that the physical doesn’t last, only by God’s Grace do we make it day after day just as we are, but what if your face was scarred? would that then mean you’re not beautiful anymore? I beg to differ and that is why we must continually remind ourselves that Beauty is inward;- “Let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious.” Peter 3:4

Our Culture puts forth a standard of beauty that is unattainable by most. God puts forth a standard of beauty to which we can all attain if we respond to His work of Grace in our lives. Furthermore God encourages a beauty that will never fade and that will only grow more attractive with the passing of time.

Even pushing it Further, when we focus on only our physical- you will turn heads! yes you will! but that’s the end of it… A Fleeting, momentary impression. But a woman who cultivates inner beauty, who fears God and lives to serve others, makes a difference in peoples lives.

This has really challenged me to re-evaluate my life and allow for God to check me where I need to be checked and allow for Him to use me to impact Lives all for His Glory and if that means a lot will have to fade or be adjusted I am more than willing and ready for Him to do a new Thing in my life. Plus continually share that it’s all about God, we are just but vessels, in fact this body we think we call our own is actually not! but the Temple of  The Holy Spirit- 1st Corinthians 6:19-20 So I pray for the Grace to constantly be sensitive to His voice and heed to it.

And so far the journey of inner beauty comes with the Joy of the Lord, it comes with His Peace which surpasses understanding where no matter what is happening around you, you are at peace and safe and secure in His Presence!

And this journey makes it so much easier to embrace who we are! I get comments a lot like “I like that you easily walk around without make-up and even take pics without any” And my answer is because Jesus reminds me every day that beauty is not skin deep, but a Beautiful Spirit is the goal! Not that I am where I am supposed to be, so far from it actually! but the journey continues each and every day the pruning and the growing continues.

And not that we should neglect our personal appearance, but just spend time in God working on your Spirit and pure devotion to God will produce an appropriate concern for physical appearance and you will find yourself presenting an outward appearance that honors God and attracts others to your Character as opposed to just your physical appearance. This is a hard one to balance! but again it’s a journey…

And in the pursuit of True Beauty, we each need to acknowledge God’s providence and receive with gratefulness the body and appearance he has given us- meaning even with all the flaws we think we may have! He made us PERFECT to fulfill His Purpose and for His Glory, so like David said- “I praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made” Psalms 139:14 So instead of complaining about your height, or your hair, your hands or whatever- thank Him and Worship Him because anything less grieves God, so give Him gratitude and ask Him to use you to Glorify Him just the way He made you.

May your Beauty Serve a Purpose! Like Esther… (Please read her story if you haven’t or I’ll be forced to share her Beautiful story on my next blog:-)

Matthew 6:14- “If you forgive others the wrongs they have done to you, your Father in heaven will also forgive you.”

We all have that one person or for some even a couple of people who’ve tested our patience, broken our hearts and driven us to limits that we are not proud of & it’s usually easier to just walk away or even run away and try to forget and hope to never have to deal with them again… But when you read this portion of scripture, God is very clear that in order for Him to forgive us, we first must forgive all those who hurt us, forgive as we would like Christ to forgive us! Not just a half-hearted we good kinda vibe, but forgive & keep showing Christs love & Grace!

Wow! I don’t know about you, but this is still a tough one for me, because I’m an introvert & usually introverts are very sensitive people who take a while to allow anyone into their space, but when we do, we really do, so when the trust is broken… It can take us years to recover! Yet God says Forgive, forgive despite the hurt, despite the disappointment, despite the pain & Forgive & extend Grace & Love to your enemies… Share a Smile, Give of yourself, forgive & forget.

Forgive… It’s healing for your heart. Forgive! And Christ will forgive you too! Same measure, pressed down & shaken together! I want His Grace on my life always, so extend Grace to others & watch as God does the same for you.

So as we enter 2017! Let’s go in with Forgiving hearts, loving hearts & let’s ask God to give us His Heart.

One of my favorite meditation songs by Casey J Beautifully captures one’s desire to have a heart like God… A Heart of Love❤

Your Heart- Casey J
These hands will wipe the tears for those who cry to you at night
And these feet will walk the miles to the place of those broken-hearted
And my voice will cry out for those who cry out for you
I’ll be your heart to the ones I meet
I’ll show love to the least of these
I would have never known if you didn’t first love me
I’ve learned to love when I’m your hands and feet
I’ve learned to love Ill be your hands and feet

These eyes will see the hurt of those who suffer silently
And this mind will be like yours and believe what you called us to be
Unselfish, unchanging, unfailing love

I’ll be your heart to the ones I meet
I’ll show love to the least of these
I would have never known if u didn’t first love me
I’ve learned to love when I’m your hands and feet
I’ve learned to love Ill be your hands and feet

I want more
I want more
I want more
Of you

Make me more
Make me more
Make me more
Like you

I’ve learned to love Ill be your hands and feet

I’ll be your heart to the ones I meet
I’ll show love to the least of these
I would have never known if u didn’t first love me
I’ve learned to love when I’m your hands and feet
I’ve learned to love Ill be your hands and feet

I’ve learned to love when I’m your hands and feet
I’ve learned to love Ill be your hands and feet

Unselfish, Unchanging, Unfailing love

Finally 30!

So I’m that strange girl who couldn’t wait to turn thirty! I think since I was a teen🙈It’s that serious! So July 10th 2016 was quite special for me😊

Back then I just admired how Women in their thirties seemed like they had it all together! They were done with the discovery stage that comes with our twenties & instead more self aware, more confident, more secure & a whole lot more unapologetic…

That was what I looked forward to then & yes even now some of those traits have come to pass and I thank God… But in my late twenties I begun to seek something different, for so much more…

Right now, turning 30 symbolized Purpose! It Symbolizes courage & less self desire, but driven by a Purpose bigger than me!

His Will! God’s Will be done & not my own is all I desire in my thirties & that usually means dying to self each day so that He may live in us… And that usually means letting go of a lot, letting go of that which you know doesn’t bring  Him Glory; it could be the music you listen to, what you watch, the company you keep, the relationship you know He hasn’t blessed or that habit that even you know doesn’t honour your body or bring Him Glory…

6 Months Later since my bday in July, I now know that some of the habits take time & others are almost an immediate transition… But His Grace is surely sufficient!!!

There’s a lot more I’m definitely not taking with me into 2017! Because 31 will require for me to step it up even more & seek His face even more earnestly.

I am still a work in progress, but He promises to complete the good work that He began in Us… So if you’re reading this & you know that God has called you, but you fear because you have a past, or you lack the courage or fear the response from the rest of the world… I urge you to take your fears to God & just say Yes! You may not even know what the assignment is, but say Yes… God is only looking for your Availability & Christ is made perfect in our weaknesses- 2nd Corinth 12:9 “My Grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness”

So like Paul, Moses, Jonah, Gideon, Sarah and many more who at first doubted, questioned & feared the call! Because they either didn’t feel good enough or worthy or believed that God could actually do what He promised! But God surprised them all & used them all! as flawed as they were for the fulfillment of His Purpose.

Lastly John 4- Jesus & the Samaritan Woman has been my biggest Ministry this year…

Jesus was in Samaria where he met a lady at the well & asked her; “Will you give me a drink?” And the Samaritan woman responded “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan Woman. How can you ask me for a drink?” (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans) Jesus answered her, “If you knew the Gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked Him and He would have given you Living Water” “Sir you have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where can you get this Living water? Are you greater than our Father Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did also his sons and his flocks and herds?” She asked & Jesus answered “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give Him will never thirst. Indeed the water I give Him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” She then asked for this water so that she may not thirst again & Jesus told her “Go call your husband and come back” “I have no husband” she replied. Jesus said to her “You are right when you say you have no husband, that fact is, you have had five husbands and the man you now have is not your husband. What you have just said is quite true.” She was then convinced that He was a Prophet- but said “Our Fathers worshiped on this mountain, but You Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem.” Jesus declared, “Believe me, woman, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You Samaritans Worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. Yet a time is coming and has now come when True Worshipers will Worship the Father in Spirit and in Truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is Spirit and His worshipers must worship in Spirit and in Truth”. The Woman said “I know the Messiah is coming. When He comes He will explain everything to us.” Then Jesus declared “I who speak to you am He”.

Then leaving her water jar, the woman went back to the town and said to the people “Come and see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could He be the Christ!?”

And many Samaritans came out to see Him & believed because of the woman’s testimony. They urged Jesus to stay with them & He stayed two days & they said to the woman “We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves and we know that this man is really the saviour of the World”

Like the Samaritan Woman, my desire is for my testimony to make others Believe! and for them to experience Christ for themselves & accept Him as their Saviour.

Her story really speaks to me, because like her, I too I’m flawed, like her, Jesus knows everything about me, like her, Jesus still loves me enough to Minister to me, like her, I too have to let go of that which doesn’t bring him glory & take my fill of His Living water & go out into the world & spread His Word! Share my testimony & bring others to Him. Do you realize she even left her Water Jar at the well? She instead got the Living Water she desired. One of the reasons why it’s always symbolic for me to go to the Ocean, especially this most recent trip in December, is what the Water symbolizes the walks on the beach and being one with the water is a very healing process for me, I have some of my deepest and most beautiful devotions there that I treasure…

But back to the Samaritan Woman; He chose her, the Woman who’s name is not even shared, showing that it doesn’t even matter who you are! God can use you! And He used her to minister to the Samaritans! & because of her, a whole town heard the good news & believed that indeed Jesus Christ is the Saviour!

It doesn’t matter who you are… God can use you, God can use you to fulfill His Purpose.

My Hearts desire & prayer🙏🏾

And just like Jesus… Begin Ministry at 30! In my own small way the journey has begun! May His Will & Grace guide me through🙏🏾

Wishing you a Blessed & Courageous 2017🙌🏾Heed to the Call & Walk into your Purpose🙏🏾

The Pruning- Lessons 2016

The Season of Pruning majorly describes 2016! Lots of clips & cuts so that we can get to the next level- hard, painful experiences, whether for some it was the end of a marriage or a relationship, or the end of a regime, or the loss of a life, or the end of a friendship or the loss of a job & the beginning of uncharted waters, new ground, new territory, new Season…

The Pruning that has taken place in 2016 really made it abundantly clear that some roads you will have to walk alone or not take everyone with you, that you have to be ready to let go! And travel lighter on your next journey and bravely walk away from familiar ground & walk into the Unknown…

The unfamiliar can be unsettling, uncomfortable, strange, Hard & sometimes very Painful! But boy do you Grow!

The Growing Pains come with many lessons if we choose to learn them; it may be a nudge to help you grow your Faith in God which best happens when He is all that you have! or maybe you need to mend your trust in Him which again is only tested when Life becomes harder than usual, or maybe it’s time to boost your levels of gratitude, which again happens when we loose that which we may have taken for granted.

That said, If you loose something during the Pruning season- remember that God does not leave a Void! Trust Him to replace that space with something even better! But!…

Yes there is a but…

That something better only comes with Obedience. Obedience to His Will & not your own. Obedience is the key to the Promise, so surrender to His Will, to the Process & say Yes to the lessons & allow for the journey to unfold.

Most times we lack the courage & the patience, well at least for me that’s been the case- too scared to try His Will because I knew His Will would require for me to step up! yet my will was easier & quicker, but the consequences that usually follow my short-cut route can sometimes even take a life time to mend.

So during the Pruning Process… Trust the Process & Trust His timing. He never promised it would be easy, but it would surely be worth it.

Luke 22:42 “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.”

Your Will may seem better in that moment, but His will is Good & Perfect in the Long Run! You just need to get through this Season & bask in His Glory later.

Be Blessed

Love Grace

And Happy 2017, remember that after the Pruning comes the Promise! I don’t know about you, but I’m hopeful about 2017😊

Reason for The Season

For unto us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace- Isaiah 9:6❤

Born to Save Mankind, Born to take up the Cross, Born to show you & I what Love means❤

What a Year a Beautiful Year of Lessons 2016 has been… both hard & painful but all ending so Beautifuly because God is a God of Purpose. 2016 has been one Revelation after another, where God has been quite Audible in my Life, both personally & publicly! Given me so many undeserving gifts, many hard lessons to swallow & painful realizations.

My TL is filled with “2016 needs to end already” “it’s been the worst” And many like sentiments… And I totally get where most were coming from; the entertainment world has had more RIP’s than ever before, the US Election… Well let’s just leave that alone, The never ending Corruption story here in Kenya & in many of our personal lives we have been Challenged, pruned & tested.

For me the beauty of it all lies in the lessons learned thereafter & fully trusting God like my life depends on it! Not like I have a plan B in place, but actually keeping Him as my Plan PERIOD!

I joined the 30’s Club this Year & it was very significant for me because I knew it meant another level for me Spiritually! I’ve always run away from Ministry… But not for long! God has had the last laugh😊because now in my thirties He really is all I care about & want to share with the world, the only part of me that excites me, calms me, gives me peace & above all secures me.

So a year later since I started this blog, I give it back to God yet again, He was very clear that I should use this space for Ministry hence all my blog posts sharing about my Faith with the purpose to show you that God is Real, God is Faithful, God is Merciful, God is Just & most of All God is Love and He gave His one & only Son so that you & I may have Everlasting Life… He’s just waiting on you.

Love Grace

So an estimated 30,000 Illegal Kenyan immigrants are now at the imminent risk of being deported from the USA back to Kenya.

People were hoping President Elect Trump was bluffing on his campaign promise of deporting immigrants among many other things he bluntly said- but he is indeed proving that it wasn’t all just campaign rhetoric but he is clearly staying true to his word.

I’ve ranted and raved enough on my social media sites, so this piece today is the next step- not a rant but a clear wake-up call!

You see after the big announcement last week we were all responding from a very emotional place and as expected because Trump elicited such strong emotions in his country and across the world, making the rest of us outside America to begin to look within and around and wonder and prod if this is our new reality. For me it took me back to 2007/2008 which was a very hard and trying time for Kenya- divided by Tribal lines which was never more clearer- in fact never did I feel until then that to some I was inferior because of my tribe and certain tribes more superior. It was hard to interview the IDP’s and to hear the cries of those who hurt in the middle of the night because we lived in an area that was at the heat of it all!

Forward to 2016 and Race is clearly still prevalent and sorry to say Trump only revived it- it never left he just gave it a face. He also gave a face to sexism which also sorry to say is still very much alive in our offices, when we walk on the streets, and very much so on social media too! nothing is new here- Trump just breathed life into the painful norms of society.

That said, this is still a BRILLIANT time to be alive- and the reason for that is the Revival that is now taking place, people that I’ve never heard say let’s pray are now initiating prayer, and also as a Christian never have I been this challenged to ask myself;- WHAT WOULD JESUS DO? Jesus would Love regardless, regardless of the Hate Spewing He would Love, he would preach Hope and He would keep the Faith.

There is nothing as Powerful as having compassion, being there for marginalized communities wakes you up to the Ill’s of this world and for me this has challenged me to extend a hand more often and breath life to Love over and over again without tire.

Now to move from the Spiritual aspect- People are poking fun of the Kenyans who will now be forced to come home and the meme’s started the minute they announced Trump’s win- but if you think about it soberly, this can be a great moment of Revival! a time for Africa to think for itself, to find and create our own solutions instead of looking to the west- Rise to the occasion and work together in Harmony and togetherness.

So many Africans escape to the West for Greener Pastures, some even without a plan just leave and know and believe that being there will always be much better than being here at home, which is heart-breaking! I have family members who’ve done that and each time they come home they are amazed that we can not only survive but THRIVE! and that is the opportunity this moment presents.

I know it will take time to think outside Tribal lines, but I wish and yearn for the day we would vote on Principal and Merit and not cry about Corruption and the ills that drain us and stagnate our growth. I yearn for the day when Electoral education will go to the grass-roots and preach this message, so that Serekali Saidia will be a long gone narrative- but to achieve all this we must first start by talking about it, by not hiding behind it, by being willing to hear each-other and above all Love each other first before we see Tribe or any difference-  For ultimately We are all One, We are Love and We are Strong!

Thank You Trump, for Waking us Up! May we remain as Woke come our own General Election in 2017!

Most of my life I’ve played small or downplayed who I am for fear of judgement or lack of acceptance… For too long I kept my views to myself for fear of being criticized or dressed down or over-dressed my body type for fear of being shunned, but what quality of Life is that really? God has designed each and every one of us uniquely different with a great Purpose!

I strongly believe that I am who I am now because I finally embraced all that I am and shared that with the world!

If I could quote Elizabeth Gilbert– “Embrace the Glorious Mess that you are!” because we are all so far from perfect, winging it most of the time, but don’t run away from who you are or try to change who you are to fit in a box! that would be an injustice to God’s Master Work.

For as long as you look for someone else to validate who you are, you are setting yourself up for disaster. You have to be whole and complete in yourself. No one can give you that. You have to know who you are and whose you are!

Remember the Sun don’t shine in the shade(you’ve got to say that American style;-) So stop playing small and Embrace all that you are!

And the great thing about embracing and owning who we are is you hardly find yourself in a situation where you’re settling for less, because whenever your inner GPS is off kilter it means trouble awaits, so strive to be in tune with yourself and allow for that to lead you to make decisions.

Know that you were made to serve a purpose, and no one else has that same purpose, but one that is uniquely yours to seek and find… Where can you find it? Your maker! only your source has the hand-book! only He has the manual that will point you in the right direction.

I’m well on my journey and excited at the prospects ahead because I know who I am! that is the most important part- know who you are and even more importantly- know who you are in the Lord for that is all that matters!- What HE says about you!
